2019
Trees collect and store CO2 all their lives. Abundance of birch that is not the right size or shape becomes firewood. When the wood is burned the CO2 goes quickly back into the atmosphere. What can we make out of the unwanted wood? When its lifetime is over I want to bring it back to its origin, return it to the ecosystem.
I hope to spark interests and potentials in making out of birch – taking into account the impact on the environment, ecosystem and atmosphere.
Material: Birch in different shape and form, glued with birch.
